Carbonware desktop applications (including Clamp, audio utilities, and performance tools) are designed from the ground up to execute 100% locally on your personal machine.
Our downloadable software does not include background analytics, user tracking daemons, behavior tracking, keyloggers, or third-party telemetry libraries. Your processed files, media, and outputs never leave your hardware.
When you use the Carbonware web store, we collect only the minimal data required to deliver services:
All payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record partner, Lemon Squeezy. Carbonware does not handle, store, or receive credit card numbers or raw payment credentials. Lemon Squeezy handles transaction security, sales tax, and VAT compliance in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards.
We use strictly necessary browser storage (such as your chosen light/dark visual appearance preference and authentication session cookies). We do not utilize third-party advertising tracking cookies or marketing pixels.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our website from spam, bots, and abuse. Turnstile operates invisibly in the background and verifies that requests are made by actual humans without requiring you to solve visual puzzles.
By using our website, you acknowledge that your use is subject to the Cloudflare Website Terms of Use and the Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Cloudflare may collect telemetry data such as IP address and browser characteristics strictly for the purpose of bot mitigation and security.
