1. Grant of License

Subject to these terms, Carbon Labs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and execute Carbonware standalone software products:

• Free Releases: May be installed and used for both personal and commercial purposes at no financial charge.
• Lifetime / One-Time Purchases: Grants perpetual rights to install and run the licensed version on your personal machines, including all minor feature updates and bug fixes for that major generation.
• Subscription Tiers: Active access to premium tools, priority cloud services (where applicable), and continuous updates during the active subscription period.

2. Intellectual Property & Restrictions

All software binaries, UI designs, codebases, branding, and assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of Carbon Labs and its licensors. You agree not to:

• Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer proprietary binary executables, except where permitted by applicable mandatory law.
• Distribute, resell, lease, sublicense, or share your private commercial license keys publicly.
• Remove or alter any trademark, copyright, or licensing notices embedded in the software.

3. Refund & Support Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your software purchases. We offer a 14-day refund policy for one-time license purchases if the software fails to perform as specified on your compatible operating system. To request a refund or license transfer, reach out to support with your order reference.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Carbonware software is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While our engineering team rigorously tests software across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments, Carbon Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the execution or failure of local tools.
